In a game with significant implications at both ends of the Division Three table, Down registered a vital victory over Fermanagh at Páirc Esler.

Pat Havern's sharp shooting was evident early on as Down accumulated a 0-7 to 0-2 advantage.

Odhran Murdock added a goal for Conor Laverty's outfit, but Fermanagh were determined throughout.
