Piltown were triumphant in the Michael Lyng Motors Kilkenny Senior Camogie League final.
2023 Munster champions Sarsfields were knocked out of the Cork SE Systems Senior Championship, after a 2-10 to 1-11 defeat to St Catherine’s at the quarter-final stage. Elsewhere, reigning champions St Finbarr’s are through to the last four, after a 4-20 to 0-13 victory over Killeagh in MTU.

Blackrock and Éire Óg are also into the semi-finals on Lee-side, after beating Ballinora (2-19 to 1-19 AET) and Glen Rovers (2-13 to 0-14) respectively.

It was also a busy weekend of action in Kilkenny. Pilltown saw off Dicksboro by the narrowest of margins in the Michael Lyng Motors Senior League final, prevailing 1-10 to 0-12.

Meanwhile, the Senior Championship also got underway in Kilkenny. In round one, Young Irelands trumped Windgap 1-14 to 0-15, Thomastown edged Clara, 1-13 to 1-12, St Brigid’s saw off Rower Inistioge 3-15 to 0-7, while James Stephens came out on top against city rivals O’Loughlin Gaels, 1-14 to 2-6.

In Galway, there were three games down for decision in the Window and Rooflights Ltd Senior A Championship. 2024 All-Ireland champions Sarsfields continued their impressive campaign, overcoming Davitts, 5-22 to 0-10.

Athenry defeated Oranmore Maree, 1-21 to 0-9, while goals proved the difference for Clarinbridge against Ardrahan, as they won out 3-9 to 0-10.

St Eunan’s are into the Donegal Senior Championship final, after a 5-3 to 1-11 win over Carndonagh. They will face Markievicz in next Saturday’s decider, after their 2-11 to 2-8 win over Burt.

The Canal Court Hotel & Spa Senior Championship in Down saw round five action over the weekend. Clonduff ran out 4-16 to 3-5 winners against Ballycran, Portaferry were 3-19 to 1-12 victors over Liatroim Fontenoys, while Ballygalget secured a 2-22 to 0-8 triumph against Bredagh.

In the Dermot Hughes Roscommon Senior Championship, Oran sealed a semi-final berth when they saw off Roscommon Gaels, 2-14 to 0-7. They will face Four Roads in the penultimate stage, who enjoyed a 4-7 to 0-8 success over Athleague. Athleague will face St Dominic’s in the other semi-final.

Naas maintained their 100% record in the Cúl Sliotars Kildare Senior Championship with a comprehensive victory over Johnstownbridge on Sunday. There were also wins for Maynooth and Celbridge, against Cappagh and Clane respectively.

Finally, in Meath, there were round four wins for Kilmessan over Ratoath (3-21 to 0-5) and Kiltale against Boardsmill (1-13 to 2-8) in the Bective Stud Senior A Championship.
