Former Cork Camogie star, Laura Treacy, features on Episode 1, Season 5 of the GAA Minor Moments podcast. A defining moment in Treacy’s development came at 16, when she was not selected for the U16 A team. Offering advice to the current generation of Minor players, Treacy encourages them to “Just be willing to learn… always strive, keep your standards really high.” She stresses the importance of continuously seeking that “extra one or two percent” in their development, both on and off the pitch, as a foundation for a successful and fulfilling journey in sport.
