He pulled the strings in the Galway attack scoring six points from play and creating many more opportunities for his team-mates.

Cian Lynch produced a magical display for Limerick in their impressive Allianz Hurling League Division 1A win over Cork. His ability to win ball in the congested middle third and use it with remarkable vision was a joy to watch.

Simon Roche (Wexford)

Simon Roche was heroic for Wexford in their narrow Allianz Hurling League Division 1B defeat to Clare. The Oulart The Ballagh man took the fight to the Banner all day and finished the match with an impressive personal tally of 1-6 from play.
